Today is Thursday. What’s special about that? Not much – it is the day before Friday (aka the weekend for normal working folks, but not for us nurses!). So why $30 Thursday? Well it sounds cool! It’s an alliteration! I like the idea!
I am beyond humbled by the amount of support I have gotten so far in a little over a weeks time! Do I still have a long way to go? For sure! But God is moving mountains and clearing the path for my team and I. I received my passport 8 days after I expedited it! I still have a job until the end of December! I have an amazing home base that is supportive and steers me back to God when I lose sight of Him!
In 9 days I will be headed to training camp for a week – a week where I will meet my new family, begin to cast away everything that is holding me back from truly being a servant of God, and continue this crazy life changing experience. A month ago this was not even on my radar for things I would be doing next year – I was planning on continuing to work as an ICU nurse until who knows when!
What I am trying to say is that God is moving mountains for me, but maybe He is clearing the path for you, too! All I ask is that you pray and be willing to allow God to use you. Whether that is giving $30 towards my World Race or if it means committing to pray for me while I am on my journey, allow God to move mountains for you!
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
