  1.  Always have toilet paper and antibacterial hand sanitizer…your toilet will most likely be the bush on the side of the road…
  2. Pack extra food if you don’t want to eat cookies and chips aka french fries from the venders
  3. Don’t let anything out of your sight!
  4. Be prepared for no air conditioning…and yes it’s hot in Africa
  5. If they say it will take 6 hours to get somewhere…expect 12
  6. Might want to start working on your issues with personal space now…it doesn’t exist on an African bus
  7. Roads are bumby…bring dramamine
  8. Don’t judge the bus by the way it looks on the outside
  9. Be prepared for leaks on the bus if it rains…Pringles cans work great
  10. Expect your bus to break down at least once…side of the road ministry is awesome!
