Oh my goodness, I cannot believe the time has come! I get on a flight to Africa in just 14 short hours!! Although I am very nervous to leave my family, friends and the US for 11 months, my excitement for the crazy adventure is greater! I am thrilled to go on this journey to 11 different places, experiencing 11 different cultures, helping in all kinds of ministries, developing my faith, going to 3 different continents, living in great community and changing my life! But all of this is because I have amazing support behind me!
Thank you sooo much to all my friends and family that have already supported me throughout this journey! From contributing financially to praying for me to having goodbye parties to clapping for my last show at the Great Movie Ride to giving me tokens to take on the trip to helping me pack to giving me words of wisdom and well wishes, I have been overwhelmed with an amazing support team.
Our journey is really starting!! We will take 4 plane rides and a bus ride to get to our ministry location in Zambia!! But we will not actually get to Zambia and settled until Sunday. I cannot wait to get there and update you all on our ministry and way of life in Zambia!
