9 months, 8 countries, 3 continents, and countless adventures later, I have made it back home. Hallelujah, praise God!
As I adjust back into life at home and life off the World Race, and reflect back on all that I experienced and all that i went through, all I can do is praise God.
I praise God for His great faithfulness to me.
God is SO EXTREMELY FAITHFUL.
All throughout this journey He continued to remind me of and let me experience firsthand His faithfulness.
As I had to fundraise an enormous amount of money that seemed impossible at the time, He reminded me that nothing is impossible for Him. He stirred in so many people’s hearts to give joyfully and generously and I was able to meet my deadlines without any problems. His timing was perfect and His faithfulness was true.
As I read and studied His word, I realised that He is the exact same God today as He was yesterday and as He forever will be. He is the same God here in Japan as He is in the US, Guatemala, South Africa, Lesotho, Cambodia, and Thailand, and all of the countries that I have been in.
As I ministered and served alongside various churches and ministries, the Lord was faithful to open so many doors for me to show love to the people that I met. He opened doors for deep relationships to be built with the local people, some of which are still strong today. He allowed me to use the gifts and passions that He has given me to serve others.

(Some of my students from Kampong Thom, Cambodia)
As I lived, laughed, loved, and worked alongside my squad of 35 other people, He provided me with a family. He provided friends who were always there to uplift, encourage, and challenge me.
(Brielle and Abby- my forever best friends)
He gave me leaders who I could respect and trust, but who I could also be completely myself around and come to them with anything, as friends.
(Cali, my squad-leader-turned-best-friend)
He gave me teammates who believed in me and encouraged me to be all that I could be for His glory.
(Team Tabasco)
He gave me squamates who joyfully joined me in worshipping our Father and uplifting His name in praise wherever we were.

God reminded me day in day out of His great faithfulness, because He also wants me to be faithful- to Him and to His people. As I continue to walk with the Lord, wherever that may be, I will be forever thankful for this experience that taught me SO MANY LIFE-CHANGING THINGS, but especially for the way it caused me to experience our faithful God.
I KNOW that the Lord is faithful. He has no capacity to be anything other than that. That gives me so much hope for my future and gives me reason to do none other than trust Him with everything.
“The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.” (1 Thessalonians 5:24)
I give God all of the glory for all that He has done in and through me in the past 9 months. He alone is worthy to be praised. Amen.
I just want to thank everyone who supported me with prayer, finances, and encouragement. I am beyond grateful for your sacrifices and your faithfulness to the Lord that allowed me to have this life changing experience. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I am so sorry for not posting more blogs while I was gone, but if any of you have any questions about how my trip was, what I learned from/about the Lord, how I grew, what country I liked best, etc, please feel free to email me or ask to get together to talk. I am eager to share the ways the Lord has been faithful to me.
Forever grateful to have a faithful God,
Cindy
