To Little River, Ks

 

       I want to thank everyone who has prayed and donated to our fundraiser. I cant thank you enough for your extreme love and generosity. The money my team raised was over $3,000. I honestly still can't believe it! Ephesians 3:20 "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine." It blows me away that God's plan, His love, His grace, His power, is bigger than I can even IMAGINE. God is so good and he proves that to me everyday. I thought that maybe my little community would donate a small portion, but they went above and beyond, donating over $2,300. I am so proud to be apart of a community that puts the word LOVE into action. The 5th grade class has been such a blessing to me these past 8 months. Again I say thank you for all of your hard work fundraising on my behalf and always being such an encouragement along the way. Every dollar you donated is feeding a hungry child, giving the unemployed  jobs, providing this growing school with a small income to sustain itself for many years to come. As I write this tears fill my eyes. It is such a beautiful picture of how God's love can change the world. You have effected so many people here in Uganda and you will never be able to meet them or receive anything in return. God's love is the same for us, it's unconditional and it was put into action when he died on the cross. Love is more than a feeling its an action. So I will continue taking sick children to the hospital, buying food for families in need, telling a strangers about Jesus. I do these things because my love for God allows me to. I promise you I wouldn't be here in Uganda Africa smashing cockroaches every night and getting bitten by mosquitoes if it wasn't for Christ in me.  He fills me up with so much love that I can't help but pour it out onto others. Thank you again for demonstrating this kind of radical love, it is truly beautiful. Next stop, Kenya!
