My friend Jessie is needing some extra help finishing the race. I love her like a sister. She has been with me through both the good and the hard times throughout this journey and I am so thankful for it. Her love is patient and kind. It's not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. She does not demand her own way. Jessie is not irritable, and keeps no record of being wronged. She does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. She never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. This girl is doing incredible things out on the mission field. "I have been on the World Race for 6 months now. I am half way through this amazing trip. I have been to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Thailand, Malaysia, and now I'm here in Cambodia. I have been able to share the gospel with people, hold hands of orphans and share with them how loved they are, I have been able to love street kids and let them know the hope they have in our Saviour Jesus, I have made friends and shared the love of Christ with prostitutes, I was able to raise money for kids who need heart transplants at a Christian hospital, I'm able to give English classes to some of the sweetest kids I think I'm ever going to meet, and I'm learning more and more about the goodness of our God, that I am who he says I am, "a loved and cherished daughter of a mighty King!" I am learning how to walk that out more and more every day. On July 1st is my last financial deadline for the World Race. In order to continue the race and travel to the next 5 countries I need to raise $4,450. Please pray and consider helping me raise this money. I truly believe there is so much more for me to learn in these next 5 months and that there are people that God wants me to reach out to and love.
