God seriously is full of surprises. I say that a lot lately because it is true. I am just in awe how kind He is to our team and purposely put us in position to shock us with new experience yet let us revisit the richness of His love.

This month we stayed in Granada, Nicaragua. We partnered with a ministry called REAP, plus a mission team from Guatemala came to join us. It was seriously the BUSIEST time I had on the whole race! Yet it was one of the most fruitful month as well. I woke up at 6am to have quiet time, then we would be out all day doing ministry and had short lunch/dinner. Even by the end of the night we were all exhausted, we still had worship/debrief. Our team even went extra mile by waking up earlier to do listening prayer and pray together before bed. Sometimes we attended as many as 4 different types of ministries a day. Sport, school, youth group, church, jail, dumpster, villages, hospital, and countless of prayer walks. We literally covered all groups and ages of people. (At one point I went to an overnight youth conference lasted from 5pm to 7am) A 15+ hours day ministry was unreal but praise to my God who provided me super natural strength and extra passion daily, Amen.

A scheduled ministry is unlike what I usually do. I pictured it would not be Holy Spirit led but I was wrong. The spirit talked to me like crazy! I have never experienced that much before! I thought my limited Espanol would be an obstacle, but over and over the spirit spoke to me in just the right times. One time God gave me a vision of a beach and the man I prayed for told me his sister lived near one and the hurricane destroyed her house. One time God showed me a light glow around a man and I instantly knew he was strong in faith then the man confirmed what I said. One time God said “pray for the man” as I entered a house with only women, later one of the woman said “please pray for my husband”. One time I met a young man who was bullied by someone, and God said “I have knocked on this man’s heart many times”. The young man told me he was addicted to drugs and had tired many times to quit. With the translator’s help I told him my testimony but He was silent. Then God said “hug him, really hug him”. We hugged for a while, he said he wanted to pray with me. I prayed the same prayer when I received salvation and………the man accepted Jesus!!! There were many times just like that when I knew exactly what to say or pray for someone. Talking about hearing God!!! Holy Spirit is so real and alive!

My schedule was so full, I couldn’t stay away from all the noise and people but God is the God that speak even in my busiest season.

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” Romans 8:14?-?17 NIV

Someone gave me this verse during worship. I started to think about the way that Spirit guided me this year. It didn’t lead me think I am like an employee of God but a son of loving father. It led me further away from fear. It led me to understand God’s own heart and His purpose for me. It led me out of my own understanding and trust in Him. It led me into love. Every time I do what the spirit tells me, it always gives me peace no matter the outcome. I never realized the God of all creation wants to interact and communicate with me. The biggest thing I learned this year is that God really talks to us, He really lives inside of us. God speaks, we respond, and story goes on.

What is He saying to you?
