The adventure started a little after noon on Saturday…
and ended shortly after 3pm on Sunday (much later than expected thanks to local transit).
A few bus stops and metro rides later we entered Prague.
Snapping several photos and laughing a lot…we dined on some delicious food…
walked around the city, and explored the beautiful castle buildings at night.
For an off day, this turned out to be quite an adventure.
These were the first ladies I saw in Prague and I rather enjoyed their outfits!
The Charles Bridge.
A view across the river + hot air balloon!
Down by the riverside…
A riverboat…lots of fun!
The bridge and some of the buildings set ablaze with light at sunset.
Alley-way.
A busy Prague street near Charles Bridge bustling with people.
In Prague, I was reminded that we never have moments of “ministry” – my life is being the Kingdom always!
This man broke my heart…all I could give him was a bag of apricots.
A view from the Charles Bridge at sunset.
This man playing his music freely inspired me!
This cute old man was resting on the Charles Bridge. His contentedness caught my eye.
Fun looking river boats with people clad in crazy costumes!
A view of the Charle’s Bridge, Prague – at sunset.
the Hind’s Feet ladies bidding goodbye to Britt.
A view across the river!
Part of Team Hind’s Feet acting goofy on the lawn.
A sweet clock I spotted in a cafe -We ate dessert there in downtown Prague! It was delicious!
Starting line view of the Marathon in Prague. While we visited the city 100s of people were running it!
These marathoners motivated me to train hard this year so I can run a 26.2 when I get home w/ my mom!
St. Augustine Castle – a night view across the river!
The streets of Prague…on route to the castle!
Part of the castle lit up at night…
The guys trying to plot out our return bus route (it ended up being non-existent on Sundays).
When we realized we’d be missing our bus + buses don’t run on Sunday’s four of us had to
spend the night at the metro-station while Kayla + Jeremy brought Britt to the airport.
We were basically ‘legit homeless people’ for a night.
Shawndell decided to catch a snooze on her cardboard box.
Aubrie was in a cheerful mood as we played countless rounds of “rummy” to pass our time.
Just sitting on cardboard…playing cards…wondering why I’m still awake…thankful for adventure!
Lucas acting like he lives regularly in the bus station.
Here’s to a day of Hind’s Feet fun…
