My time on the World Race has been more of a blessing than I could ever communicate. I am confident that have I only been blessed, but I have blessed many as well.To those of you who have kept me in your prayers and supported me, I am grateful. You have given me the ability to change the course of many lives.
Last month, my team and I taught English, computer, exercise, and bible at Agape School in Siem Reap Cambodia. We also led devotions twice per day and preached at church on Sundays. The vision of Agape School is to provide high quality education while teaching the students to know Christ. Agape School also houses 17 students who have difficult family situations and have no where to go. Without Agape School, they would not get any education at all.
The school is facing financial trouble and have a hard time even feeding the children. They are behind on payments, understaffed, and are only staying afloat by faith. The pastor here went as far to sell his house in order to keep the school running. The faith of the pastor and staff amazed me. No matter what happens, they remain faithful and thankful. I ask that you would be in prayer for Agape School, the children, and staff.

Teaching was hard in itself. The students spoke little to no english and were often unruly. apart from teaching and leading devotions, I also played with the children. Students would constantly run to me calling, “Teacher, teacher” while holding their arms up. I wanted to be Jesus to every child I met. Even when I didn’t think I had the energy to continue, I would ask the Lord to give me strength and He never failed to do so. This took my dependency on the Lord to a new level. I had to depend on God to give me energy each day, patience to teach and discipline, and the words to speak.
Thank you again for your prayers and support. I ask you to be in prayer for me to:
-Seek greater intimacy with the Lord.
-Learn how to better communicate with my team.
-Avoid too much burnout.
-Be joyful always and not let my circumstances take my joy. In doing so may I bring joy during hard times and lift spirits when needed.
-Grow in the fruits of the spirit.
Next month, while the women remain in Malaysia, all of the men in the squad will travel to Indonesia in order to pave the way for future World Racers. No World Race team has ever been to Indonesia. Pray that the Lord would lead us and move in powerful ways. The community the is almost completely Muslim and in need of Christ.
