From Bangalore, India, to those whom God called, and thus made this journey possible, I give thanks. Your prayers are apparent as I am writing to you. As I run the race which has been laid out by Christ, I pray that you would also be exhorted. I pray that I will be able to stay in contact with you often so we may be mutually encouraged.
This week has been filled with every emotion. The God of our Lord Jesus Christ continues to break me. Not until the walls I’ve built have been demolished, can God build his own. I pray for a palace. Being stripped bare is a painful process. It exposes weakness and calls us to a higher purpose.
As the days pass, I realize one of my team’s biggest purposes is to encourage our contacts who are already here in Bangalore. They are devoted to full-time ministry in a broken world. These contacts can easily become burned out. My team lives and works directly with the them every day at different ministries. While we do help the poor, share Jesus’ love with little children and locals, we must make sure are also a blessing to our contacts and not a burden. They have chosen to serve us in many ways and we should do the same.
Prayer points:
Health- a few of my teammates have been experiencing sickness over the past few days. This is physical but could also be in the spiritual realm.
Unity among Team Mosaic- living in community 24/7 is not easy, especially when everyone has different personalities, likes, and dislikes. Pray that we would live and work in unity, loving each other well.
This City- Pray for Bangalore. This city is called the Bible Belt of India. Despite this, Hindu and Islam are the main religions and Christianity has yet to seep into their government.
Children in India- A nation for The Lord is built through children.
Against Demonic attack- A lot of idol worship takes place here, this causes a shift in the spirit realm. Pray that my team and squad would be protected from attack and break strongholds that have been placed over this city.
That Holy Spirit would come- Ask that The Lord would fill the streets with His presence and light so there would be no room for darkness.
Listening Prayer- Pray for me however The Lord directs you.
