Well you might be thinking right now isn’t it always free.
Yes, but that’s not the point.

Last night we went to patong for the second time to prayer walk down Bangla road. This time was different we were going on our own just the men of L squad. We spent part of the day preparing for the night. We worshiped we prayed we each prepared themselves in their own way. Then when we got there we split up into groups of 3 and 4. I was on a group with Ed, and Andrew. While we were walking we as last time kept getting showed signs for Ping-Pong show, not at all what you think basically it’s a sex show. The signs are to try and get you to come to a show and tell you about it. Well then Ed got the feeling that we should get our own signs that said free prayer. So we went to find some we stopped by a travel agency and asked if we could have some paper and then saw they had a sharpie and asked if we could use it, so we got signs made, we tried to give them money for letting us have the paper but they said no. Then we hit the street, Bangla didn’t know what had hit them. We simply walked with the signs most just had strange looks on their faces of what is this.

Then a man that works for one of the bars asked us what the sign said then we got to pray for him. Then as we walked another man asked about them he then took us to a tailor that made suits and such things. He said you talk to him about Jesus so we did. Then just before we start to pray for the tailor the first man came back he brought three other people they seemed to be family and were all Burmese, they believed in Christ but do not have a personal relationship with Him. As we finished God told me it’s him. This was to a message that I had got from him earlier that day during worship I was told I was going to give away my Bible to some one that night, and here the moment was. It didn’t look anything like I thought it would but that is our God for you, he wanted this man to have a Bible and now he has one I pray that it blesses him and his family and the whole street there.

We continued and got to pray for a few other people and one person prayed for us, and we had others tell us that what we were doing was a good thing. We even had a few people that tried to rip them up but God stopped them somehow. But the lasting thing is the looks of all the people that we met the way they thought about it if it spoke to just one of them then that is one more battle won to His Name.
So see what happens when you walk down a road with a sign saying free prayer.
