Well month 1 is over and we are heading to Antigua, Guatemala.
Why you might ask? Well it’s for debrief.
You want to know what debrief is?
Well it’s a time that we spend with the whole squad and get to spend time in worship and in learning’s where our coaches come, squad leaders and others.
We talk through the last few months and such how the team is doing and other things like that.
The first debrief was in Antigua, Guatemala.
We spent 4 days here on Monday we travel here and as soon as we got there we got to go on to the roof with such a great view. From the top we could see 3 volcanos including del fuego which each morning you could watch erupt, it was really cool to see. Also from the roof you could see a famous church in town that was just a block away. We took the time to explore it on Monday along with the city as a whole.
Tuesday we had worship and other things, but in the worship of the morning I felt even freer than ever before. I did a cart wheel in worship. I know that some people would have been like what? But that’s what my heart wanted to do as a way of worshiping God. So I did it.
Wednesday we had time to worship and do other things just free and see town and I got me a big Mac. That’s right they have a Mc Donald’s here it was really nice like classy place like outside seating like we would expect at a really fancy place. It was awesome.
Thursday the squad took a bus to a volcano. Pacaya Volcano to be exact it is an active volcano. We hiked up and down. But this was not anything like the last one it was an easy walk up and down. At the top we got to roast marshmallows on the lava. That’s right I had a marshmallow roasted by lava. It was a great day.
Friday we left at 4 in the morning. But that is for another Blog.
I keep trying to put photos up but the Blog wont let me so I'm Sorry.
