Well training camp was amazing but the things that meant the most to me was the bonds; that I grew with my Squad. What is a Squad? You ask. Well the squad is the group of people that will go with me to each of the countries I will be going to. They will be traveling with me between countries. And they are my extended family on the race.

Well here is a picture of them all… But It would take a lot of room to type all the names so ill just say that’s my Family and I love them all. They are so amazing and I can’t wait till I get to know each like I know my own brothers. And I can’t wait till I’m back with them at launch.
At training camp we found out our teams. What is a team? I’m glad you want to know. (ok maybe I’m getting a little cheesy) A team is the small group of people that I will be spending the whole time with, while I’m on the Race. They will be my family my community they will know everything. Isn’t that scary? NO not at all. Cause I trust everyone of them; they mean the world to me and I know that I mean the world to them. The only thing bigger and better than it all is God. So Drum role please………

Here they are. My Team, My family.
They are
Erin Beekhuis Is our Team leader and she is great so calm and patcient. She is from Canada.
Alia Barkos sadly told us on Friday of training camp that she will not be going with us on the Race. But she is still a part of our team and always will be.
Michelle Close lived in Springfield, MO till just recently. She moved back to New Jersey. She is a hugger.
Laura Johnson the other scientist in the group, she studied Food Scince in College. And currently is an Upaluma at Willy wonka’s. Ok I’m jokeing but she really does work with candy all day long.
Michelle Kwak went to Duke and is bringing a her guitar to lead worship.
Ed Olivett the other guy on the team. He is great. He has been on many mission tips to Africa.
And Me you know about me so I won’t say a thing about me.
I am so blessed to know and the get to spend the next year with them.
I am so blessed with the Girls on my squad and that they will teach me what a Christian woman really is.
I am so blessed that I am going to have Ed as my brother, I know that he will always be there for me and that we will stretch each other and push growth.
Ed I want you to know that of all the guys you are the one that I wanted to be on a team with the most.
And we are going have an amazing time in the next year.
