OK! Quick update.
This entire month has been incredible and it's been hard for me to place it all into words so I haven't blogged in a while.
Ultimately, everything about this month has come to head in the last couple of days.
The idea of God's family and God's provision is really mind blowing. Like. Wow.
So we were super well taken care of while we were in Port Elizabeth, with free housing, countless free meals and just overall great fellowship.
And we came up from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg earlier than the rest of the squad on Friday and we knew that there would be a 13 hour layover and it seemed like it would be spent in the bus station, but then one of our contacts called and told us that his sister will be picking us up and house for a bit and then take us back to the bus station to catch our 10pm bus to Nelspuit. Talk about God's goodness and God's family coming through.
We got fed and showered and got our laundry done and got to rest and it was wonderful, definitely better than spending time in the bus station!
Then we took the 10pm bus to Nelspuit and got in at 3am in apparently a shady part of town and thank God another of our contacts arranged for a lovely couple that didn't even know him come and get us and they arrived just as we got there and we got to sleep at their place and then they fed us breakfast and it was just awesome.
Now we are at the hostel, Old Vic Travellers Inn, for a week of debrief and with the opportunity to go to Kruger National Park too!! Spending 4th of July with the squad as well 🙂
God is good. All the time. All the time. God is good.
God's family is vast and brothers and sisters are everywhere.
Super thankful for the new South African family we have met and am crazy excited everyday learning and experiencing God's awesomeness.
