Sunday, March 3rd, I saw the coolest thing ever! I saw a volcano erupting! I'm not talking about on tv or online, I mean in real life, in person, with my own two eyes! Here in Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala (where we had a short one-day debrief) there is at least one nearby volcano outside of town.

That night the squad was walking to Noe's house – Noe is an awesome guy that we got to know at training camp, and who was with us during our first week on the field. During that time he felt the Lord calling him to Guatemala so he left AIM and moved here to Antigua! It was a great time for the squad visiting with him and the other awesome missionaries that he's living with. Anywho, while we were on our way there we saw the volcano smoking, which was no big deal to me. But once we got to his house, lava started to shoot out of it! I stood there mesmerized for awhile and had a hard time looking at anything else. It was incredible to watch! At one point in the night we could see small red streams trying to go down the side. Don't worry, we were never in any danger.

That night we were supposed to be asking God how much he loves us. One of the things that the Lord spoke to me with the volcano was that he loves me so much that he wanted me to watch something spectacular, something I've never seen before to show me how much he loves me!

Cool things I've done/seen about volcanos–
I have seen a few of them smoke; hiked one; swam in one; camped and driven in one; seen them do nothing and, now, seen an eruption (by far the coolest)!

Team Z.E.R.O.H. will be teaming up with Team ROAR this month and we will be going to/near Coban, which is in the middle of Guatemala.Coban is a mid-sized Guatemalan community. Since it is the dry season, it will be hot during the day and chilly at night. We are heading out today (Monday, March 4th)! Pray for God's will to be done through the ministry He has for us, for our health and our safety.
