Welcome to my first blog of many more to come! My name is Christine Perry. I’m 23 years young. I have lived in Warrenton VA (near DC) all my life.
I was raised Southern Baptist and was baptized in 1999. In high school I started going to an Assembly of God church on Sunday and Wednesday nights. It was an interesting but fun and God-filled change going from a Southern Baptist background to hanging out at a Pentecostal church.

I am the oldest child with 2 younger brothers, Stephen and Michael. Both of who are starting or finishing college at Liberty University. I have the best mom in the world, Gerain, (I’m sure lots of people say that about thier mom, but my mom is really the bestest).  I have an awesome father figure who has not only shown me how awesome fathers can be but he has/is also teaching me so much about ministry. Thanks Butch

At first I thought that I wanted to be a youth pastor, but as I have been at college, I feel that maybe I’m not called to be a youth pastor (for now), but I do know that I will be doing something in ministry but as of right now I’m not 100% sure what that may be… but I’m excited to find out what it is! I will be receiving my BA in Religion (Christian religion not religion in general) in May from Samford University in Birmingham AL. While here I have met an amazing people and have a small group of close friends who have challenged me to grow in Christ all throughout my time here.

I found out about the world race about a year and a half to two years ago I couldn’t get it out of my head! From the moment I read about I wanted to go! SO I am happily going in January 2013 to the following countries for missions:
China! Philippines! Honduras! El Salvador! Guatemala! Albania! Romania! India! Uganda! Kenya! Tanzania!

A Few Fun Facts:
*I love God                   *I love to travel                   *I love the beach/lake/river…wherever there is water
*I enjoy hanging out with my friends    *I enjoy spending losts of time at the Birmingham Prayer Furnace
*I can write with both hands                  *not a fan of the cold

So that is me in a nutshell. I found it hard to talk about myself especially to a general audience. So if you have any questions just ask! I’ll be telling you all about my testimony and more in later blogs.
