At the hospital, we met a little kid who was only two years old running around the hospital without a guardian. We saw the nurses chasing after him. A few days ago, his mother didn’t want him and left him there. There was also a newborn that was left at the hospital. We were informed by the hospital staff about how it is common for unwanted children to be left at the hospital. Eventually, the hospital staff will take the kids to an orphanage to be taken care of. I began to think about the unwanted people in the bay area- trafficked individual, the elderly in retirement homes, those just getting released from prison and many more. What is it like to be one of them? What resources and services can be created to help them out?

Anyways, we’ve taken a 13 hour train ride and we have a 33 hour train ride to Macedonia from Ukraine.
