You know mail order brides do exist. What’s more is that brides are sold her in Lugansk, Ukraine- which is where my team will be working at this month. Our team is very near the border of Russia. Young girls are trafficked (since there are high schools and universities here) and they are married off to men from other countries that are looking for a Ukrainian wife.
Tragic.
Some groups will visit high schools to raise awareness on human trafficking. We will be visiting high schools as well this month for cultural exchange as well as encouraging the students to live out the meaningful life that they’ve always imagined by sharing our World Race experiences so far. We will also be doing hospital visits will be assisting at a rehabilitation center. We will be spending time with the patients as well as bring toys for the kids.
P.S. A random fact, there’s places that are still radioactive. We aren’t staying in those places obviously, but I’m like wow- how crazy it would be to live in those areas as there are. To tour such an area, you need to wear a radioactive suit.
New mates!!!! What I mean was that there had been some team changes. Our amazing friend Jake is now a part of team One Love and we have two new members- Jordan Drake and Bek Conley.
