This woman who was sick came up for
prayer. She told us that she gets very weak and was sick, but she
didn’t tell us the specifics about her illness. John, Brook, and I
laid hands on her and she flew backwards HARD. She just flew back and
John caught her and she began to scream. At first I was wondering if
she was pretending to fall out, but John who had caught her said that
he felt the full force of weight when she flew backwards. We
continued to pray for her and she became peaceful and silent as she
laid on the floor. I did feel the Spirit upon me and felt as if
perhaps something was wrong. She went to talk to Pastor Charles and
Captain Joseph afterwards in Swahili. I went up to talk to her with
Captain Joseph as the translator and began to ask her how long she’s
had her illness for. She said she’s been sick for a year. I asked
her if any huge events had happened a year ago when she first got
sick. She said a year ago and even until now, her family members on
her father’s side would not allow her to pursue an education and
that she experienced a lot of rejection from that. She has been sick
since then. She said she will see a cloud of fog then red then dark
shadows. I believe it was all God’s leading because he put it in my
mind to ask her about her experiences at night. She told me that she
sleeps next to her sister and sometimes when she wakes up in the
night and looks at her sister, she doesn’t see a human, but
something else that doesn’t look human at all. She’s been
experiencing this for a year. Later, I discover from Pastor Charles
that she had told him that her father practices witchcraft. Hopefully
in this following week we will be able to visit her and pray for her
and over her house. Please pray for her freedom.
The kingdom of God is greater than the
kingdom of darkness. [Jas 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God;
thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.] As a follower
of Christ, we have become adopted as children into the family of God.
[Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his
name:] And as a son, we are an heir of God’s kingdom, a kingdom of
His that is greater than the kingdom of darkness. [Gal 4:7 Wherefore
thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of
God through Christ.] Thus, wherever we go, we have the authority to
claim the place we are at for the kingdom of light.
