I really don’t know why Cookie Monster stopped eating cookies and is going for fruits and veggies-sure it’s healthier- but cookies are WAY more delicious.
My friends told me we were having a cookie swap today. For those of you that haven’t attended one of these, you should- basically each person creates and bakes a batch of cookies and we get together and swap them. When I arrived, it was actually a surprise going away party for me – a potluck and cookie swap. Honestly, I was SO CONFUSED when my friend yelled out “Surprise!”.
I almost failed to attend as I couldn’t clearly remember the time or place because at the time they were discussing the get-to-gether, I was very much distracted by “Fat Princess” (a video game you should stay away from if you have a lot to do, I probably only played 30 minutes total, but was fully absorbed in fighting enemies and carrying cake).
My main point is THANK YOU to those friends from CCS, thank you to my friends from LA and those in the Bay Area. I am truly blessed and blown away to have experiened such love-time and time, again and again. Today, I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have been immersed in the overflowing blessing of my God- the blessing of friendship.
Some ask, “Where is the love?” I think to myself “You guys around me are the butter to my bread and the breath to my life.*”
Thank you for the fun times, your prayers, your financial support, your time, your friendship, and the cookies to fatten me up before I leave.
