For all y’all wondering what I’ll be doing during my first month in Uganda, its your luck day!
My team, Devoted Love, will be working with Child Voice located in Lukodi, Uganda. In 2004 the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) raided the village of Lukodi, and carried out a massacre killing over sixty people.
Child Voice’s Mission Statement “ChildVoice International is a non-profit organization seeking to restore the voices of children silenced by war. ChildVoice acts on the conviction that children broken by war can be restored in safe communities with loving care, spiritual and emotional counseling, and effective education and vocational training.”
