I've been launched. Launched into a new world, a new lifestyle, a new mindset. God has shown up big time.
Some highlights:
*worship in a small church with 140 people that are being sent out into the nations. if you havent experienced this, you are missing out! freedom reigns in this place!
*our first travel day consisted of 14-15 hours. 1-30 minute hike, 3 bus rides, 1 train ride, and 1 airplane ride.
*we slept in San Juan the first night and then headed up the mountain to Los Montacitos. When i say mountain, i mean dirt roads so steep that our truck spun out more times than i can count all while our driver had one hand on the wheel and casually motioning that it just gets worse:) this is what dreams are made of people!!
*walking out of church to a native franticly yelling and motioning @ our tents so i run up the hill to see whats going on and find my tent rolling down the side of the mountain. oops.
Thats it for now, but i hope to update some more once our ministry starts tomorrow. Just an FYI-We have very limited internet, but we have access approx. once a week. So funny though…we are in a remote village with no electricity, bucket showers, and little huts but there is internet. thank you, Jesus!
