During my second month home I found myself continuing my travels. After Searchlight I headed to my parents in Bellevue.
I finally got to see my little Minner and Randy. Of course mom was there too.
I also got to see the other animals and mom taught me how to spin alpaca fiber. It was lots of fun. Not only did I spend time with the family mom and I went down the road to a friends alpaca farm and I got to see little baby alpacas. My time was nice and restful. I enjoyed getting to visit a couple of churches and get hugs from everyone who has been praying for me this past year and even now.
From there I headed to Kalamazoo/Portage. My home before the race for the past 10ish years.
The wonderful Deneau took me in and made me a part of the family. It was so much fun playing with the boys and I have really missed sitting and talking with Sheila and HP. In addition to spending time with them I also got to visit with my Life Group.
As you can see two of these lovely ladies had some exciting news of their own. I am proud to announce that both have given birth to beautiful little boys. Does anyone else find it funny that the husbands are all sitting on the floor?
During my time in the area I went back to Cole's and saw all the wonderful people that I used to work with. It was great to visit with them all and get caught up on the things that have changed in my absence. Of course I spent time visiting other my other friends in the area too. It was hard to say goodbye at the end of my time there.
