This month all the teams were either in Kigali or in small villages surrounding it. Our team was blessed to have a house of our own to live in this month. We also had two house “moms” that blessed us with good cooking and doing all of the laundry for us.
The month of April was the memorial of the genocide that happened in Rwanda. We visited one of the several memorials they have in the country. This month we had many opportunities to preach.
For most of the month school was not in session but twice a week the team would go to the school yard and play with any of the children that wanted to come.
The children loved to play Simon-says and duck-duck-goose. They also enjoyed sing for us whenever given the chance.
