Here you will find the story of my World Race: an epic 11 month, 11 country escapade that set me up to commit my life to pursuing God’s adventures -not just my own.
You’ll find my continuing story of adventure as I’ve:
- began a career in ministry entrepreneurship
- worked to develop new programs & teams to do His work
- launched back overseas to keep shining love in dark places
- continuously learned how to completely rely on God in a way I never had before.
You see, growing up in the USA I can attest that oftentimes, we don’t feel like we need God so much. For most of us, we have roofs over our heads, food on the table, clothes on our backs -and from there, most of the rest is ‘extra‘.
The World Race was set up to stretch young adults to the point where we have to rely on God. And lemme tell ya, over 11 months in 11 countries with the same people… you find to your wit’s end. But it’s true what they say: “Where I end is where God begins!”
You see, the World Race was my first ‘kingdom journey’: the kind of journey where you get to know God, get to know yourself, and figure out how He wants YOU to bring His kingdom down here to Earth.
“Bringing Heaven to Earth” sounds like no small task, does it? I agree! But I am honored and excited that God has chosen me (and you!) to partner with Him to fulfill this mission.
How do we bring Heaven to Earth, you ask? Well, by sharing the kind of love, wholeness, healing, & joy that Heaven will boast with to the people we encounter here on Earth. And the cool part is that when you ‘partner’ with God, He does all the heavy lifting! All you have to do is show up!
So, I’ve shown up, packed up, & prayed up and now I’m trying to fill others up with the love that He has so graciously shown me J
