When I first started fundraising, my goal was to be fully funded by the time I launch. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen. However, I set a new goal. I wanted to reach the third deadline before I launched.
Last night, I found out that I have reached that goal!!!
Even though it is not in my account yet, I have passed $11,000. This deadline is not until December 1! By reaching this amount, I am guaranteed to stay with my squad in the field for at least 6 months. This means that I will officially be heading to Africa in January! I am so excited. My dream of going to Africa is really going to come true now!
I can’t say thank you enough to all of the people that have helped me get to this point. I am beyond blessed. If it wasn’t obvious before, with all the people that have contributed it’s obvious now. This is definitely what I’m supposed to be doing and this is definitely when I’m supposed to be doing it.
I still have a little over $5,000 to raise in order to be fully funded. I have no doubts that God will provide. The total amount is not due until March 1, 2015. Just like the last three deadlines, let’s see if together we can reach the final deadline way ahead of schedule.
