I woke up this morning at 630am. I’m not sure why our first day off I chose to go running in the morning instead of the afternoon, but I got out of bed, brushed my teeth, put on my running clothes, and headed out the door. Now I had the option of choosing to run on the beach or run in the neighborhood. I thought to myself, why not run by the beautiful ocean God has blessed us with? So off I went.
As I approached the sand I noticed there were a ton of kids running around. It’s a Saturday. And we were told that sometimes they have camps come in and stay at the Baptist Resort next door. Amidst the crowds I noticed a group of people sitting down, a straight shot in front of me. And I thought to myself, that shirt is Cubs Blue. Sometimes I think that when I see a nice, bright, royal, crayon color blue shirt, because my buddy Colleen happens to love the Cubs and points it out herself a lot.
So I noticed this shirt and the next thing I thought was, wow, and that girl looks a lot like Colleen. And wow, that other girl looks a lot like Jackie. So I did what any normal person would do upon realizing that one of her best friends is only 50 yards away… I ran and jumped on her!
So that was my morning blessing. I woke up and saw one of my favorite people on random beach in Panama. Thank you Lord for your simple yet amazing blessings. You are good.
