Yesterday morning I was struggling with the possibility of losing my teammates. I was absolutely consumed with the thought that in two weeks I could be saying goodbye to these people that I call family. My mind contemplated the impossible task of raising over four thousand dollars between the three women. It’s never going to happen God; there’s just no way! It is completely impossible to raise that much money in a little over two weeks. This stinks.
As I was praying and thinking about this– which really means I was worrying– Mark read an email that he had just gotten, informing us that in the past day, since all the blogs and emails were sent out about their financial needs, $2,200 dollars had already come in. WOW! I was immediately filled with joy and smiled. Praise God! He is already beginning to work in this. Nothing is impossible for God, of course He can do this…. God can do anything!
So I got up excitedly and went for a run. Being on an island, the nice thing is that there are some really beautiful paths to choose from. Typically I just go running by the water. So as I was running down the street that runs straight into the ocean, I suddenly became overwhelmed with the beauty surrounding me. The sun was shining and glistening off the bright blue ocean. In the far distance were small, luscious islands visible because of the stunning clarity in the sky.

and by your will they existed and were created.”
Revelation 4:11
How do I have the nerve to doubt in the abilities of God? He created all things. He makes the blind see, the deaf hear, and the crippled walk. He can move mountains. He has all power and all knowledge and can do all things. And if he wants these three women to remain on the race… he can provide all the funds.
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.
1 Peter 5:10
