My first trip overseas I went to the Amazon Jungle in Brazil. I was reading through my journal last night. Here is an entry from my first night there…
“I made it through my first night in the Amazon! Actually, when I went to bed we were on some other river and when I woke up we were on the Amazon, surrounded by beautiful jungle on each side. I can’t even emphasize enough just how pretty it is out here. It’s peaceful, there is green everywhere , and the river is amazing. God made such an amazingly diverse world. I’ve never seen anything like this before.
I could see myself traveling to all of the areas that God made unique. I would love to do that.”
WOW! I just thought it was so cool to see that before it was ever a realistic thought or desire in myself, God already knew. He put the desire in me, he made me a specific way that would give me that desire. And when it was just beginning to sound appealing to me, he already knew that come September 2007, I would do exactly that… I would travel to all of the areas that He made unique. And I think that last part is true as well… I will LOVE it!
