happy tuesday. got excited today when i read this and was thinking about fundraising and different things…thought i’d share.
“The Lord is faithful in all His words and kind in all His works.” Psalm 145:13
…faithful in all His words…kind in all His works…
that means that when Jesus said, “blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted”…He meant it.
when He said, “whoever loses his life for my sake will find it”…He meant it.
when He said, “for where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them”…He meant it.
when He said, “you cannot serve God and money”…He meant it.
when He said, “come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”…He meant it.
when He said, “with God, all things are possible”…He meant it.
when He said, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly”…He meant it.
when He said, “I AM the resurrection and the life”…He meant it.
when He said, “as the Father loved me, so have I loved you”…He meant it.
when He said, “no one comes to the Father except through Me”…He meant it.
when He said, “behold, I am coming quickly”…He. meant. it.
all of these words….all of these promises…they are faithful because they are His. how encouraging is that? His word is true. His word is faithful. but He is not just a vocal God, He is an active God. and His actions….His works…they are kind. in any and every thing..in ALL His works…His actions towards me..towards you..they are kind.
