It’s 2:15 AM right now and I’m
sitting here in a church that we have been sleeping in for the last few days,
waiting until 3:30 AM when my team is heading to the ATL airport to begin our
journey to Romania!  We should be
there by the end of the day on the 10th of September which is
insane.  That’s tomorrow.

 This week in Gainesville, GA
has been really incredible.
Gainesville is a STRONGLY hispanic city and we have been staying at a
church literally named “Church of Open Heaven” (in Spanish though) which is
located in the middle of the part of Gainesville called “little mexico”.  It’s been a cool place to launch from
just because it’s a bit of a cultural experience in and of itself.

Really, for me this week has
been about just learning more of what it’s going to look like to be a team
leader and learning more of what it’s going to look like to do life with the
people on my team.  I have been
blown away this week just by the power of God that is coming out of my
team.  Sometimes when I hear Jesus
coming out of my team’s voices, I wonder how in the world I’m the team leader
for a second.  There is some
incredible wisdom and power coming from these people and I’m so crazy excited
to know that we absolutely WILL be a family.

It’s crazy when God starts
moving in the way that He’s moving right now.  I feel like He’s going a mile a minute in my head and my
heart and it’s sometimes hard to figure out what is most important to blog
about.  Due to the time right now,
I’m not going to be able to share a whole lot but I wanted to let all of you
know that I AM about to head out!!
Once I’m actually out on the field, I’m going to do my absolute best to
blog at least a couple times a week.
Days already feel busy and the trip hasn’t even started yet but it is
really important to me to keep all of you updated back home on what Jesus is
doing in me, my team, and our ministries so that you can be encouraged,
strengthened, and challenged along with us!  I think that God has so much for me during this year but
also so much for the people I love back home which get’s me fired up.

So I guess I should finish
packing up but I just want you to know that I’m just really feeling a lot of
peace and rest in Jesus right now.
I feel so close to Him am having an absolute blast hanging out with the
Holy Spirit and digging into the things that He has for me.   I’ll blog again soon!! Hopefully
it will be a super exciting post next time…
