NOTE: THIS POST WAS WRITTEN TUESDAY, JULY 5
Lord Jesus…You come in
power father and I am so thankful for that. God I am thankful that Your spirit and Your presence is
ABSOLUTELY alive inside of me and that it POURS out like a GUSHING RIVER when
YOUR WORDS come out of my mouth. I
just want to proclaim that YOUR WORDS can bring life to a generation, to a
nation, to this earth, and to a single person. My prayer is that You would use me as a vessel to declare
YOUR TRUTH and that You would give me the words to tell of the great moves that
You are making in this earth of which you have invited me to be a part. Use me JESUS to communicate the
wonderful creativity and absurdity that You have exhibited throughout Your
people and all of Your creation.
Use me to communicate the GOODNESS in how You have created every person
and every place on this earth.
WHOA.
Guys the last few days have utterly changed the way that I see Jesus and
the way that I see this next year of my life. In about an hour and a half, I will hit the 48-hour
mark. Are you kidding me? I could have sworn I’ve been here for
months. There is something about
worshipping God for hours throughout each day that I think gets Him pretty
fired up. He has just been pouring
out revelation on me about my identity in Him, what it means to honestly
proclaim “Jesus, your beauty is overwhelming”, how intensely awesome His
presence is and how ready He is to just pooooour it out on us.
There’s no way that I can share everything God has been
speaking to me in the past couple days just because He is speaking at least 400
miles a minute (maybe even 500). It’s all I can do to scribble down the truths He
is speaking over me before He begins to pour out even more. Needless to say,
it’s good that there are a couple months between training camp and the actual
race because I am going to need at least a couple months to process through
some of the things that He is speaking to me. Don’t worry, you’ll absolutely be a part of some of that if
you’d like to be.
