Friends! I figured maybe it was about time for a little update on what’s going on with Team Christi’s World Race. Because let me tell you, it’s a lot!
Adopt-A-Box fundraiser is over and it went so well! It was just awesome getting to fundraise with my friends and family from afar on Facebook. It is always incredibly inspiring to be supported by people you barely even see, knowing they believe in you and the mission.
Nineteen84 Lines is happening! The World Race has been such a positive change agent in my life, inspiring me to start things I have thought about but never acted on. One of those things is Nineteen84 Lines, a lettering company. I’ve been slowly selling (and giving away) prints, coffee mugs, and the like, but this month I’ve got greeting cards! They are 5 x 7 and sold in packs of 4 for the lovely price of whatever you want to give! It is a joy to invest in this and so fun to gift it to all of you! I got to chat with my River City Church community about intimacy with Christ, singleness, and The World Race journey I’m on. Whew! Speaking on stage is such a reminder to me of how God’s goodness, faithfulness, and love. Three years ago I would have anxiously worried, sweated, and fretted my way off this stage and never given God the chance to show me what He can do through me. But I keep giving Him chances and He keeps showing me that public speaking does not, in fact, kill you. What a faith grower this has been.
This past weekend I got to share my journey with so many of my friends and family at New Life Church! Wow, what a blessing this was. The whole morning was filled with support and love. God used this opportunity to remind me how loved I am by Him, always. Through my friends and family and framily at New Life Church, I saw so many seasons of my life. When the worship team came up, they sang a song I heard one of the first times I started feeling the Holy Spirit move my soul and I cried. What a journey this has been, loving Jesus. What a journey it still is. Thank you New Life for loving me so well.
