Continued from Woah Holy Spirt! Did you really just do that?! Part 1
Experience 2: This same girl was experiencing some pain in her legs after an evening of doing exercises of listening to the Holy Spirit. When she started to explain to me when the pain started, I realized it started right when she was supposed to start listening to the Spirit. I knew in my heart that it was an attack from Satan. We paused on the path and I asked to pray for her. I prayed for her and GUESS WHAT? God used me again?! But this time, she was COMPLETELY healed from the pain in her legs. I think we both just looked at each other and I almost cried at the unbelief. Two days ago I didn’t believe in physical healing and now God was using ME to heal others.
Experience 3: After that healing, I was on fire for the Lord and was fully believing in physical healing. There was someone else on my squad who was suffering from a cold during the week. His name kept popping up in my head all the time, but I didn’t understand why. One evening while in the bathroom up the road from our tents, I heard the Spirit tell me to run to him and pray for him. Run? Really? This was not what I wanted to do.
But I obeyed. Once I got there, I prayed over him and GUESS WHAT? His throat was healed!!
Some of you may be skeptical at what I am saying and some of you may be thinking that I am someone special that God used. I want to tell you that I am just an ordinary person who did not believe in physical healing a few weeks ago. What is SO crazy to me is that God still USED me. Me with my little faith and doubt in His physical healings. He guided His spirit to tell me to pray for these people because He wanted to use me.
And guess what? God wants to use you, too! He wants His Spirit to live inside of you and nudge you to pray over people. No matter what you have done in your past or what you are doing now, if you believe in God and desire to know Him more, He can use you to heal others. It is not humans who heal people, though. I did not heal anyone last week. God did. But God used me as His tool. Tell God you want to be used and be amazed at what His Spirit tells you to do. You are FULLY worthy of being used to physically heal people among tons of other things!
