Well folks, we will be finishing up with our debrief here in San Juan, Dominican Republic Saturday. We will be leaving for Haiti early Sunday morning for a 10 hour bus ride to Port au Prince for the night. Monday, our team and team luminous will take a bus to Gonaives were we will be doing ministry until the 21st. We will be working on the coast doing hurricane disaster relief and relational ministry. Our partner is called C3. We will be living in our tents for the 3 weeks that we are there which will be a pretty drastic change from the way we spent the last month.

Apparently, we will not know if we will have internet access until we get there. Obliviously, if we find out that we do not have access, I will not be able to email or blog until we leave. Around the 21st, we will head back to Santo Domingo, DR for a few days of debriefing, refreshing, and worship. Once back in the DR, I will definitely have no trouble finding internet.

Once again, I want to let everyone know that I am incredibly grateful for all your love, encouragement, and prayers. Haiti is an incredibly dark and poor place; therefore, the people there as well as our squad will need your continued prayers. We serve a mighty God who will lead us and protect us.

I hope to find internet in Haiti once we arrive, but if not, I will be sure to journal while I’m there and share our ministry and experiences with you as soon as possible.

Keep the people of San Juan on your hearts and in your prayers. I will especially miss and pray for the street kids we spent so much time with here.
