It’s December 1st, and I have less than 5 weeks til I depart for Miami on January 3rd to meet my squad. We will be leaving for the Dominican Republic sometime January 4th. I’m in the process of moving back to Raleigh to finish out my last month in the US with family and friends. I have a few loose ends to take care of as well. I will be getting most of shots tomorrow morning. I still have some paper work to take care of such as: power of attorney, medical paperwork, and my international health insurance which is $400 for the entire year. I will be speaking at my grandpa’s church Dec. 14, sharing my heart and our mission for the next year. I hope to spend time with many of you before I leave.
I still have about $3,000 to raise before I leave. I want to ask that each of you prayerfully consider joining me. Whether you can afford a donation that is small or large, I ask that you take a step of faith. I ask that you contemplate the urgency of sharing the Good News with many who have never heard the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I ask that we all, myself included, ask the Lord for more faith in such difficult financial times. I ask that we all spend more time in prayer, trusting the Lord and giving Him control of our lives.
I need your help. I ask for your prayer and encouragement. I pray the Lord continues to humble me. I hope many of you will partner with me, my team, and my squad as we seek to share the gospel across the world, to grow in our personal relationship with Christ,, and to discover God’s personal will and direction for our lives.
