My Life
Hello family, friends, and
supporters! I cannot believe I am only about 7 weeks from leaving. I will be
flying to Miami to meet my squad on January 3rd,
and we will all be leaving for the Dominican Republic January 4th.
Since the last newsletter, I have completed training camp and have been placed
on my team. We are Team Tikvah (Hebrew for “Hope”). I am so excited to begin
this journey with my team, and I am having difficulty waiting. I have been fairly
busy lately trying to plan and organize support-raising opportunities. I will
be speaking at a couple of churches later this month and in mid-December, so
please keep me in your prayers.
My Heart and My Struggle
blown me away in the last month. He has challenged me, stretched me, and
blessed me. I truly believe that He has strengthened my faith by volumes in
just a few short weeks. He continues to surprise me. I am more confident than
ever that this is what God has called me to. Since training, I have been filled
with peace and confidence about this trip, my team, and support-raising. I
continue to release my burdens into His hands, and He truly takes them away. I
cannot raise $15,000 without Him softening the hearts of many who will support
me. Well He has used many of you to encourage and support me, and I
thank you from the bottom of my heart. My biggest struggle right now is being
patient and waiting for the day we get to start this adventure. I still have a
few thousand dollars to raise, but the Lord has begun this work, and I am
confident He will see it through. I ask that yall continue to pray for me. I
need His understanding and guidance in the next several weeks to get everything
in order for my departure.

As you can see, I have added several monthly supporters this
last month. With their monthly pledges, my total has skyrocketed. I still need
to get my total collected money up to about $8,300 before January to leave with
my squad. I was able to purchase my backpack, tent, and sleeping bag recently.
But I still have many small items that need to be acquired. I also need to get
my medical shots, international medical insurance which is about $400 for the
entire year, and my plane ticket to Miami
($115) to launch with my squad.
I was blessed with many financial
gifts this last month. I am completely humbled and grateful. The Lord Jesus
Christ is so good. I am sincerely
grateful to all of you who have given in any way, great or small. I thank
you!!!
Important dates
November 21-30 – I will be visiting with family and friends,
and hopefully speaking with my friends church
December 1st – I need $6,900 in my account
December 14 – I will be speaking at my grandpa’s church –
love offering
End of December – I need $8,280 in my account, as well as,
the rest pledged to leave January 4th with my squad

The 11 countries
My team and
I will be ministering in 11 countries between Jan. and Nov. sharing the love of
Christ with many people who have never heard the Good News.
We will be spending a month in each of these countries: Dominican Republic, Haiti,
Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia,
South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi,
Swaziland, Bosnia, Romania,
and Croatia
(Jamaica
was removed and replaced with Malawi
and Croatia)
Final Thoughts
I sincerely want to ask each of you
to prayerfully consider supporting me financially through monthly pledges or
one-time donations. Consider that if each of you gives a small amount monthly
for a year how easy it would be to reach my goal of $15,000. Even if you cannot
give financially I would love for you to join me through prayer and
encouragement. I truly want this trip to impact all of us. I invite you to join
me and my team as we follow the Lord to the ends of the earth sharing Christ
with the poor, the broken, and the hurting.
