I just wanted to take a few moments to let
everyone know what’s been going on in my life. I’ve been so incredibly
busy at camp the past few weeks. I’m still learning all my
responsibilities as a director, and I’m learning tons about how to
communicate, motivate, and relate to each member of my staff so that I
can be the servant leader God has called me to be. God has given me so
many great opportunities already to help disciple my staff members one
on one, so pray I continue to be obedient and vulnerable with these
fellas. We just finished up a week with like 280 campers plus
their leaders. It was a stressful week, but the Lords strength
and comfort was truly enough to get me through. I am having a tough
time balancing all my camp responsibilities and all my WR stuff. I
rarely have time throughout the week to do much work and prep for the
trip, but I’m striving to use any down time to get my crap together.
Please pray I use good time management and that I stay focused on
Christ first and foremost throughout this summer. I still need to mail
out my support letters, and I’m still making some great contacts. The
Lord has been so faithful bringing together resources, friends, and
family. He is continually strengthening my faith and humbling me before
Him. Praise the Lord for is unfailing love and faithfulness.
