Have you ever wondered what a missionary is?
I didn’t. At least not before I left on a World Race. But the realization that all my friends, family, and co-racers all consider me to be one has really made me stop and think.
I simply do not consider myself to be a missionary. I’m just a woman living life. And my life, according to God’s plan, includes mission work at this time. It’s just that simple.
You see, I think a missionary is simply somebody who says ‘yes’ when God says ‘go.’ He might be saying ‘go’ to Nepal, or He might be saying ‘go’ to the person across the coffee shop from you. One doesn’t have to be international about their mission work.
What I’m doing out here is living life! And boy am I living it well. By the grace of God.
My day job is traveling around the world, sharing the love of God with people through established organizations that are creating a positive impact in their community. My off days are traveling around the world sharing the love of God with people while on an adventure day. How cool is that?!
I’m living my life out here. Nothing more, nothing less. God is good. His plan and the way He designed me for it is perfect.
Thank you to all my supporters. Your support means so much to me. I still have $6826 to raise by January 1. Anything you can do to help and/or pass the word would be awesome.
