Why the race?
Ironically, the first time I heard about the Race I had no intention/desire/anything whatsoever to live out of backpack for 11 months (I have a hard enough time packing a small suitcase for a week) or to not be able to take showers (I have a very irrational fear of body odor), but when God says do something, you listen. So here I am…about to graduate from the newly named University of North Georgia with a degree in Criminal Justice with Forensics Emphasis…having a slight anxiety attack….putting my silly fears aside for the sake of Christ….and I couldn't be more pumped about it.
A little about me:
- I was introduced to the Gospel my Sophomore year of college, and haven't looked back since
- I am 21 and currently attend the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega…go Saint Bernards woohoo
- I am a Kappa Delta yeahyuh
- I am graduating in May with a Criminal Justice degree….hoping to do anything but become a lady cop (as intimidating as I am it would never work)
- I have the three most amazing roommates in the whole entire world (one of which will be also going on the Race one day :))
- I have never been on an overseas mission trip….but there's no time like the present, right?
-
My favorite food in the WHOLE WORD is cheese….but sadly I am lactose intolerant

- I am deathly afraid of heights…hoping to overcome this at some point in my life
- my mom is my very best friend in the whole wide world
- I am the most least (if that makes sense) competitive person ever…probably why I don't ever play sports
- My favorite thing to do is hike…me and my mom have hiked and camped in the Grand Canyon (super cool)
- I love making people laugh, and I hate hate hate it when people are sad
- I don't have any brothers or sisters, just little 'ol me
- I love trying new things…aka the world race
Welp…I can't really think of anything else super cool or interesting, so if you have any questions please feel free to message me 🙂
