U
Squad (U Know!) met up this past
weekend right before we headed out to Malaysia and we had a lot of changes
happen.
We now have 3 new squad
leaders who will be trained all this month, with Sage and Julie, to take over
the squad and step into more of what God has for them as leaders.
Jake Morris
Chelsea Hughes
Courtney Buckner
Along with those changes we also had some team changes!
When they first announced team changes we had 2 hours of silence to just
pray and process what was happening. I pretty much cried the whole time and the
next day I cried some more. But even though I was sad to see some of my
teammates move to different teams and leadership roles, I was also so excited
and encouraged. God is moving all of us into a new season with Him and it’s
going to bring new experiences with new challenges.
Andrew is now the team leader of Soul Graffiti! Beka and Crystal are now
on team Rooted. 🙂
My team still has Justin,
Tiffany and Genae and now…
Our new team name is…
( Drum Rolllllll)
Salty Sheep
(Baaaaaaaaaa)
Our first team picture!
Matthew 5:13-14 says, “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made
salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and
trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be
hidden.
John 10: 14-16 says, “I am the good
shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know Me- just as the Father knows me and
I know the Father- and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep
that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to
my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
silly, but it also has a really good meaning behind it. 🙂
For the week we are here, we will be working pastor and
member Kajang Assembly of God Church. We will be doing several different things
while here ministering with them.
– We started ministry on Friday with working with a
kindergarten class at the church, then teaching English to Burmese children,
prayer walk at universities in the area,
and then ministering at to different cell’s (cells- are different age group
bible studies).

– Saturday (today) we are having breakfast fellowship with Power
House (Youth Ministry Name) leaders, attending Combined Power House (PH) Cell,
playing a little Soccer aka Football, and attending the Young adult service.
-Sunday- we are ministering at the PH service, (this church
has 5 different services depending on the language you speak) and then
fellowshipping with some of members while sightseeing the area.
-Monday and Tuesday- we are going to be helping out at the
Rumah Faith Attachment, which is an orphanage and elderly home. So we will be
assisting the owner of that facility.
-Wednesday- we will be ministering at Kajang Tekir (Orang
Asli- Aborigines) with is a center of aboriginal’s.
– Then Thursday we are headed possibly back to KL for other
ministries for the month. This next week we will be doing all types of
ministries. I am looking to letting God’s light shine, growing in the Lord, and
sharing God’s Love…
