- to have my heart break
- to be out of my comfort zone
- to know a deeper love, joy, and peace
- to be stretched- physically, emotionally, spiritually
- to be flexible
- to build a strong community with my brothers and sisters in Christ
- to travel by plane, train, foot, and all the other “taxis” of the world

- to see the Holy Spirit move in ways that I’ve never experienced
- to be homesick
- to have more and more of God’s Word planted in my heart
- the unexpected
- to experience feelings of loneliness
- to take up my cross and follow Jesus
- to have fun!
- to grow closer to God
- to be Jesus’ hands and feet
- to have some amazing “inside jokes”
- to be bold
- to sleep in a tent (not like the “camping” with a tent in the backyard I did when I was a kid)
- to eat food that I’ve never eaten before…and love it!
- to experience spiritual warfare
- to be transformed
- to be humbled
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
