Hello!

First of all, I want to say THANK YOU for reading and wanting to know more about me! I am a firm believer in telling your testimony, scripture says it’s something we should do, therefore I want to do it well. My desire is that you are encouraged and reminded of your value while you read, get to know me even though you have not seen me, and that Father is glorified in these words. He is my whole reason for living and He is the strength of our hearts, He is worthy of all the I am and all the I have to give. I want these blogs to center around His love and goodness.

My name is Chelsea Lemon and I am 25 years old. I grew up in a small Texas town and am very thankful for where I come from (all Texans are 🙂 ). I’ve been a nurse for 3 years and really enjoy what I do. I worked in labor and delivery for a little over 2 years and I now work in an outpatient surgery unit and I love it! My parents are my heroes, I know that sounds cliche, but truly, they are the best. My parents have been married 30 years and my dad has been a way maker for me, he has trudged down a hard path to make my way easier. He is the most hard working person I know and loves the Lord dearly and with fierce passion. He has protected me and guided me to Father’s heart my whole life. My mother is my best companion, there with me as a steady voice of encouragement on the mountain tops and she sits with me in the trenches. She is an unwavering source of love and companionship. She really knows what it means to love people and has imparted so much knowledge to me. I have an older brother and he is married to the best sister-in-law a younger sister could ask for. My brother has taught me to be adventurous and to try everything at least once. He has constantly looked out for me since I was born and I’ve always looked up to him. He inspires me to go off the beaten path and to follow the untamed heartbeat of the Holy Spirit. My sister-in-law is just wonderful, she’s brought only good since she joined our family. She has taught me to be more thoughtful of others and how to reach out to the people around me. She is beautiful and has a genuine heart for Jesus and His people. My Family has made up so much of who I am and am proud to have their blood running through my veins. I pray my life and choices honor them.

As for me, I encountered Jesus when I was 16 at Student Life camp and I have never been the same. He is my greatest joy and I want my whole heart to live in the deep abandon of His calling. When you read this blog, I hope you are constantly turned back to His heart and encouraged to jump with abandon to His purpose for your life. That is what this World Race journey has been for me. His calling is the only place where we are truly satisfied and set free. He has come so that we may have life and have it to the full, and I desperately want all He has for me. All He has is already ours, we just have to decide if we want it or not. So, the World Race is my first step into the deep. What is He calling you to today? “If at first, the idea is not absurd then there is no hope for it.” – Albert Einstein

I’ll be posting blogs often to update where I am and what I am doing. Thank you for caring, for support, and prayers.
