my week at WR TRAINING CAMP::  carried a “legless” girl up a seemingly never ending hill while blindfolded , showered 3 times in 9 days, slept in a tent…outside, cooked over a campfire for 50 people, ate with my hands more often than I used utensils, brushed my hair just one time, redefined “clean clothes”, learned that watching people vomit milk that has been dyed red, blue, or green is less disturbing and actually exciting, played musical chairs with 45 other “adults”, learned that sometimes winning is still losing (meow)  and met strangers that became family in just a few short days.

Training camp was great. U-Squad (U know!) is an amazing group of people that I am proud to be a part of. When I left Amarillo and headed east for a week of training camp I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I would have guaranteed you that I would not feel a close bond with the majority of my squad and I definitely didn’t think that I could love 45 other people that quickly. But it took just 1 week for me to grow close and really love the amazing God lovers on my squad and I can not wait to spend next year travelling and ministering with them among the nations. During the last few days of camp we were split into our teams, and I have been given the awesome privilege of leading the women of Team Blue Sky. We are an all girl team and when we get together hilarity ensues. We are a group of women who love life, love to laugh, and love to love. Please pray for us as we prepare over the next two months to go and share the love of Christ with the nations. Our goal as a team is to leave in January with our entire team fully funded. With God all things are possible and we are trusting Him to provide for each of us.
