Today. Today I had a fantastic day. Part of ministry was to help Christine with her first day teaching Chinese.

IT WAS SO FUN. We had a translator but he was late for class. This is what went down:
Let me remind you:
We are in Romania where the language is… Romanian.
Christine and I speak English and have learned a tinnnny bit o' Romanian in one week.
Christine is fluent in Chinese.
I used to be sort of fluent in French.
For the first 15 minutes of class, no one at the table was fluent (or even close) in both Romanian and English.
Uh oh.
I heard the guy to the right (Eddy) say something in French, THERE WE GO, woohoo!
Christine would explain to me in English what she was teaching in Chinese and I would translate the English explanation of Chinese in French to Eddy who translated it to Romanian. Then Eddy started talking in the little Spanish he knows for no good reason. It was crazytown.
“EDDY FRENCH NOT SPANISH.”
“Si si”
“NON, OUI OUI EDDY.”
“Si”
“EDDY NEITHER OF US ARE FLUENT IN SPANISH STOP IT.”
“SI”
“OUI.”
“SI.”
“OUI!!!!!!!! FERMEZZZZZZZ LA BOUCHHHHHHE.”
I don't know what kind of sick game it was but I do know there were 5 languages being thrown around and it was JUST SO FUN. Everyone was eager to learn and I learned a whole lot too…. just a stinking good day. ThankyaHallelujahYes.
