I’m going through a notebook I have of some cool Bible verses and ran across these.
Our God has rejected drunkenness even more than our society has accepted it.
Being reminded this is not something to brush off because it's so normal or common.

This is NLT version but I looked at many and they're consistent.
"…" means I took parts out to focus on the topic.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who… are drunkards… will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Isaiah 5:11-12
What sorrow for those who get up early in the morning looking for a drink of alcohol and spend long evenings drinking wine to make themselves flaming drunk. They furnish wine and lovely music at their grand parties— lyre and harp, tambourine and flute—but they never think about the Lord or notice what he is doing.

Galatians 5:19
When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear …. drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Isaiah 5:22
What sorrow for those who are heroes at drinking wine
and boast about all the alcohol they can hold.

Romans 13:13–14
Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

Habakkuk 2:15-16
What sorrow awaits you who make your neighbors drunk!
You force your cup on them
so you can
gloat over their shameful nakedness.

But soon it will be your turn to be disgraced.

Come, drink and be exposed!

Drink from the cup of the Lord’s judgment,
and all your glory will be turned to shame.

Hebrews 12:14
Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life,
for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.

James 4:17
Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.
