Something that God has been teaching me this month is about frustration. This month frustration has come because of miscommunication. When it creeps up, as it has quite a few times this month and other months on the race, a team member pointed out to me that I need to give it to God. It does not mean that the situation will automatically change. We are followers of Christ are called to find joy in all situations but I don't believe that means we need to be happy all of the time. Please pray for me as I am working on having joy in all situations.
Our squad was warned that in India it is easy to get frustrated but to stay close to the Father and take time to worship Him. I am so thankful that Team Thriven this month has scheduled time of worship and prayer every morning before ministry. We sip our chai tea and worship the Lord of Lords!
Update on Team Thriven
We have visited two out of the four orphanages we are going to this month in India. The kids have been so servant hearted as they are willing to help us with a lot of things. For instance, at one home we had get water from the well to wash clothes and shower with. The kids were so willing, even excited, to help pump the well for us.
The people of India tend to be spiritual. Please keep this country in prayer as many people believe in many gods instead of accepting God, the creator, as the only God and Jesus Christ as the only way to Him.
