*Fundraising update: on this night before I launch for this big adventure… drum roll please… $14,115.50!!!! Praise GOD, All Glory to HIM!! It seems like this has been a long journey getting ready for the World Race.
Tomorrow I will board a plane for Chicago and meet isquad and team Degel in the Windy City!
While there are definitely times where I think this is CRAZY- why are you leaving the country for eleven months and going to eleven countries again, I remind myself that this is the will of God for me and the rest of my squad to be going on this journey. His word says to trust Him with all our hearts and that is what we are doing. Often I think of a little song from good ole' Veggie Tales-
"The Lord has given this plan to us. No need to fus- He knows what He's doing. We know that He will take care of us if we will follow HIM!"
The Lord has given his plan for iSquad to go on the World Race and He knew what He was doing when He did that. As many people have said, it is good to be in the will of God.
Prayer Requests-
-That iSquad and the other squads would cling to Christ as we are under the attack of satan who does not want us to go on this trip
-Packing= that God would just show us what to pack and what not to pack
