It is difficult for me to glorify God in small, ordinary events. This small practice can make a huge difference in how I glorify God in big events. If I struggle with seeing Him in daily activities, how can I see God in big experiences (like healing or people surrendering their lives to Jesus?

There are times when I am sharing the Gospel with people and an unexpected thought comes to mind. During my reflection period, I usually think, “Wow, I can’t believe I thought of that.” Instead of giving glory to God for said thought because He gave it to me.

My teammate, Brittany, had a dream she was watching news clips from 9/11. She woke up the next morning and went about her day. It wasn’t only until dinnertime that she realized it was September 11th. I told her the reason she had that dream was because her subconscious knew it would be 9/11 soon. My heart behind it was truly to disprove God would give her insight about something like that even if it were just a date.

The next day, God showed me that I wasn’t glorifying Him in the small events. He told me if I didn’t do it with small events, I would miss bigger events that are to come. I want my heart and mind to be conformed to God’s so that I don’t miss the big things.
