Stopped at a red light,
a boy probably no older than ten was walking
car to car
asking for money
our contact Dwight pulled a bagel out of a bag and handed it to this boy,
and then he said eight simple words
“Something for you from Jesus, He loves you”
My heart ripped into pieces
I realized
how much Jesus loves His children
How much he provides
How we are His hands and feet at all times
I realized how much more I need to act, serve and love for the Kingdom
Giving, and delighting in God’s children
Being God’s hands and feet at all times
Telling people who my hope is in
How much he Love you and me
It’s about seeing the image of God in everyone you met
helping them grasp Jesus a little more
“I tell you the truth whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
Matthew 25:40
are you walking right past the broken?
The least of these, can be the C.E.O of a big company, a manager, a woman or man with everything but have a broken marriage, someone filling their void with drugs.
Who are the least of these?
Maybe it’s the rich?
Maybe it’s the poor?
Is it the ones who do not have hope?
who do not have God ?
So, Who is the least of these?
